So what's up with this crazy "cosplay" thing? Cosplay is a term that
originated in Japan; it's basically an amalgamation of "costume" and
"play" and describes the act of dressing up like your favorite
character from anything - a video game, a TV show, a movie, an anime,
etc.
I've been cosplaying and making my own costumes since 2002. I
mostly cosplay from video games and Japanese anime, but I am also
working on some domestic costumes. Below is a list of my most recent
costumes and works-in-progress. For a
complete listing of my past and present costumes, check out my
Cosplaylab
profile.
I played Claus
Valca from Last Exile in the 2nd
Annual Metrocon Human Anime Chess Match in 2005 and Anita
King from ROD the TV in the 3rd Annual Metrocon Human Anime Chess
Match in 2006!
