STARS Program

Student Training in Astronomy Research Skills (STARS) is a two-day Astronomy outreach program at the University of Florida, sponsored by NASA's Space Telescope Science Institute.

Please note that the deadline to apply for the STARS Program has been extended to this Friday, October 30th, 2009. The program is open to high school students in and around Alachua County, as well as first year college students. The program will run from morning on Friday, November 13th, 2009 to early evening on Saturday, November 14th, 2009, at the Bryant Space Sciences Building on the University of Florida Campus.

UAS will be involved in the planning and running of the STARS program. Volunteers are always appreciated. Check out the STARS Website for more information.
