By invitation of Frank Ogborn Chief Flight Instructor, the AAC sometimes has star parties at Kitty Hawke Aviation, Inc. (Flying Ten Airport) located about ten miles west of Gainesville. Driving time from Interstate 75 and Newberry Road is about 20 minutes.

    Directions From NW Gainesville

  • Take HWY 26 (Newberry Road) West
    to Jonesville
  • Continue on Newberry Road to HWY 241 South
  • Turn South on HWY 241

  • Turn left on SW 42nd Avenue (Airport Rd.)
  • Go about 0.9 mile on SW 42nd Avenue to end
  • Turn left on 154 Street
  • Facility is one block on left
