The galactic center has been the center of recent studies with infrared intrumentation. Concerning the "central" star SgrA* we know that its emission is polarized of more than 15% with strong stability with time of its direction. It is believe that such polarization come from synchrotron radiation from material orbiting the star. The observation with CIRCE will complement the present studies of the center of the galaxy.
