AGN, Debris Disks, IR Instrumentation, Imaging, Spectroscopy, Polarimetry.
My research is focused on developing IR instruments that provide advanced and privileged access to the world's largest and/or most advanced telescopes. This provides a firm grounding for my collaborators and I to investigate AGN and the host galaxy, as well as debris disks.
I am currently an associate scientist at the University of Florida. I received my Ph.D. from the University of Hertfordshire (UK) under the guidance of Professor Jim Hough. I was then a Royal Society/MONBUSHO Fellow at the National Astronomical Observatory Japan, working with Subaru personnel. I then worked at the Isaac Newton Group of Telescopes as a support astronomer, where I was the principal investigator of INGRID. In 2000 I moved to the University of Florida.
