About Me

I am a graduate student in the Department of Astronomy at the University of Florida. Along with my advisor Jonathan Tan, I study the conditions under which massive stars and star clusters form. Using mainly millimeter observations, I attempt to understand the physical conditions and dynamics of Infrared Dark Clouds (IRDCs), the birthplace of massive stars. I am also interested in understanding the formation of filamentary IRDCs, as well as the formation of their surrounding Giant Molecular Clouds (GMCs). Please see my research page for more information.

We are in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.
