Maybe it's just me, but I have had trouble navigating the Astro-ph page, and have been angered that much information I needed to submit a paper correctly isn't presented to me until after my submission has been rejected. Even if you've successfully submitted to Astro-ph before, if the next time you are presenting something from a different journal, or have different files, formats, or equation structure, irritating problems could arise.

If it's not clear (it initially wasn't to me), the moment of submission occurs when you hit the "submit" button after you have uploaded a file on the submit form. Before you upload the file, you can play around however you'd like.
