The 'Notes etc' complement our text book. Some are in the form of 
topic or paragraph headings. They are outlines rather than 
a complete set of notes.  However, they should serve as a 
guide to the class discussions, help you with your notes 
and aid you as you study for the exams. Most of the material 
are readings from other sources that supplement the text. 

The links are general and include references to magazines, national observatories and
night sky maps.

few times during the semester (see Extracredit_Projects below).
