Additional Required Material:   Mastering Astronomy (www.masteringastronomy.com)

Join us as we investigate and unravel the mysteries of the cosmos.  We will  study the motions of celestial objects and  learn how these motions lead to our understanding  of our place in the universe.  We will explore the solar system, our Sun, other stars, the Milky Way, other galaxies and the structure and formation of the Universe. Finally we will discuss the possibilities of the existence of life beyond the Earth.
