Prior to pursuing a career in astronomy, I was on track to become a professional ballet dancer. I began my dance training at the Performing Arts School of Worcester (MA) and then moved on to Walnut Hill School for the Arts. In addition, I also trained at the School of the Hartford Ballet (now The Hartt School/Dance Connecticut) , Princeton Ballet School, and the Five College Dance Department. Upon moving to Florida I gave up dance, however, I have recently re-discovered my passion (Thank You Alora!) and I am now training again, mostly with the Santa Fe Community College Dance Department. Ultimately, I hope that a Ph.D. in Astronomy and my love for dance will allow me to pursue a career path which blends the art of science and the science of dance.
