I am a faculty member at the department of astronomy in the University of Florida.  I serve as an associate scientist, working with the engineering group to build state of the art instruments for the largest and most advanced telescopes in the world.

My research work focusses on active galactic nuclei (AGN), and I lead an international group of astronomers (drawn from the US, Spain, Mexico and the UK) with the plan to optimally exploit guaranteed observing time provided to me for my instrument work.  Click here for my publications, provided by ADS.

My research is supported by NSF funding, including grant numbers 0206617 and 0704095Any opinions, findings, and conclusions or recommendations expressed in this material are those of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the views of the National Science Foundation.
