Dr. Rebecca Pitts successfully defended her Ph.D. thesis entitled “On Dust, Carbon Monoxide, and Molecular Hydrogen in the Census of High- and Medium-Mass Stars.” Dr. Pitts will continue her pioneering investigations into star formation and the interstellar medium through a postdoctoral fellowship at the Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhagen.
