I am currently a graduate student at the University of Florida working with Dr. Steve Eikenberry on X-ray binaries in the Galactic Center. I grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland, and graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) as a Meyerhoff Scholar in Dec 2014. I received a Bachelor of Science in Physics as well as minors in Astronomy and Mathematics. Before graduating from UMBC, I participated in REUs at the National Solar Observatory and NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center.
