Former UF Graduate Student Ji Wang has been hired as an Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University. Ji received his Ph.D. in Astronomy from UF in 2012 with a thesis entitled “Toward Massive Detection of Planets Around M-Dwarfs Using the Radial Velocity Technique” before going on to postdoctoral positions at Yale and Caltech. Prof. Wang is recognized as an authority in exoplanet detection and characterization.
